Lewis is also the organizer and Grassroots Advocacy Director and National Spokesperson for the SmokeFreeRightsForAll.org “Entertainers Speak Out" Advocacy Initiative.

 

Which uses grassroots advocacy, to educate our musicians and business community on the dangers and health consequences of Indoor "Smoking and the usage of Tobacco" products, and "Secondhand Smoke" Exposure, to our musicians, entertainers and hospitality workers in the workplace. "We Deserve A Smoke Free Workplace Too", We should not have to sacrifice our lives for a paycheck! Supported by “The Georgia Dept. of Public Health”, The American Cancer Network, “The American Lung Assoc.”, “The American Heart Association”, “The Center for Disease Control”, “Americans For Non Smokers Rights” and “Tobacco Free Kids” campaigns.

Yalonda joined IYI in 2017 as the Central Indiana Senior Outreach Manager. She is a seasoned professional who has held roles in both public and private sectors in the areas of executive management, sales, training and development, customer service and program management. She is excited to be an IYI brand ambassador servicing youth workers in Boone, Brown, Johnson, Marion, Monroe, and Morgan counties.

Yalonda holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and is a certified Development Dimensions International (DDI) Facilitator. She has many philanthropic interests surrounding her passion for youth development and is committed to improving the lives of all she touches through her efforts. Prior to joining IYI, Yalonda achieved this mission in her role as a Program Coordinator with the Center for Leadership Development, Inc., of which she is an Alumna. She is a member of the Board of Directors of AYS, Inc.
